worth the wait

Yong Xiao Yue

Born: Nov. 1, 2007

Hunan Province

I have photographs -- but they're in a pdf file! Good grief. I'll have to scan tomorrow and reload them to the blog.

It's hard to think right now......I could hardly find a map online of China today. It was as if I'd never used the computer before.

I believe Yue Yue is a DaoXian girl! Our Dao girl, Malia AKA Fang Fang, has been home for almost
1 1/2 years. She is 2 1/2 and sweet as can be. Dao is a wonderful orphanage!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Congratulations on your new daughter! I am a RQ lurker, but I have a Guangdong daughter named Xiao Yue. Her name means Little Moon, and she loves her name. DD#2, also from, shares your daughter's birthdate of Nov. 1. The number 1/1 for a birthdate is supposed to be extra lucky in Chinese culture, or so we were told.

So you have (perhaps, according to the exact characters) a beautiful name and an extra lucky birth date! A very good beginning for your new daughter! (I can only say that they have worked out so very well for our family!)
